This is me...

When I say "I am a Christian"....
I'm not shouting "I'm clean livin".
I'm whispering "I was lost, now I'm found and forgiven".
I don't speak of this with pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide.
I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I'm weak and need His strength to carry on.
I'm not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed and need God to clean my mess.
I'm not claiming to be perfect.
My flaws are far too visible, but God believes I'm worth it.
I still feel the sting of pain.
I have my share of headaches, so I call upon His name.
I'm not holier than thou.
I'm just a simple sinner who received God's good grace, somehow!

Tag..6th folder...6th pic

Once upon a time there was a little village filled with happy people. No one was ever angry or mad. They always helped each other. They laughed a lot. They shared their food and no one was ever hungry. This happy little village was just a tiny spot in a very big Kingdom which was ruled by a wicked Queen. The Queen was very jealous of the happy people because she had no idea how to be happy. The happy village people stayed away from the wicked Queen. They paid their taxes and worked very hard, but never left their village to pay homage to the Queen. This made the Queen very angry. So angry, that she puffed up real big and blew fire out of her mouth. She stomped over to the little happy village and screamed "be-head them all, I hate happy people." The village people begged for their lives. So, instead of chopping off their heads, she blew her fire breath and burned their happy village down, scattering the happy people everywhere. Then she road her ugly dragon all over the Kingdom telling everyone that if they ever spoke to one of the happy village people, she would burn their village too. Everyone in the Kingdom was very frightened and they acted like every happy person was dead. They never spoke to them, or helped them or gave them food. Soon the happy people became very sad, people. Eventually, they became hermits. They never felt safe again. They never laughed again. After a while, all the happy people, who were now very sad people, just disappeared. This picture is all that was left.

Little Feet

Nothing could be more sweet than Kaelyn's little feet. Alas 'tis true, little feet will grow into big feet, far to soon.

GOD IS SO GOOD!

I have wonderful news that I want to shout to the world. Addy has been approved for a Continuous Glucose Monitoring system called the Freestyle Navigator. This means much fewer finger sticks, if any at all. And, what is even better..medical insurance is going to pay for this system at 100% including all supplies. This is going to make Addy's quality of life so much better. When she was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at age 2, I asked "Why Lord?" When she was diagnosed with Celiac disease at 5, I asked "Why Lord?"

Well, I have decided that the "Why" is not important. What is important is the "WAY" the Lord has provided for Addy. He has given her parents the strength to care for her. He has provided the supplies, and even a move to AZ so that she could have Dr. D, one of the very best pediatric endo's in the whole world to care her. The Lord is so awesome! Dear Jesus, I am so happy! I give praise to your Holy Name for this wonderful blessing, your great mercy and tender care.

"And I will do whatever you ask in my name,
so that the Father may be glorified in the Son."

John 14:13

Please see my post of January 16, 2009, Just a Month, to learn more about Addy. She is an amazing child whose life is a testimony to the Glory Of God.
