GRANDMA 2 SWEET GIRLS WILL RETURN 12/19

On Monday, December 15, I want to wish my dear granddaughter Kaelyn Erin, Happy Third Birthday. Dear one, I remember the day that you were born. I remember the happiness I felt. I was the first to see your sweet little face. I remember feeling complete joy at your birth. You were my Christmas gift of 2005. You have filled my life with happiness just watching your grow. My life is better because of your birth. Your precious smile is forever sealed in my heart with love.

Hero's at Life

I leave for Baltimore Sunday, December 14 for another intensive week of training for WIC. I will be in my first day of class during Addy's endoscopy. I am not sure how I will be able to concentrate. My heart, my thoughts, and my mind will be praying for Addy the entire time. I pray that God will take mercy on me and open my mind so that I will be able to retain some of the information taught.

WIC is more than just handing out vouchers for food packages. There are at least 50 different infant formulas to treat a variety of problems that plague artificially fed infants. Breast-feeding is the Gold Standard when it comes to feeding infants and toddlers. Breast-feeding is the natural way to feed human infants. Anything else is called artificial. I am proud of my daughter and for her insistence on breast-feeding all of her children. She is an outstanding example of Mother/Child bonding. My grandchildren are beautiful examples of the benefits of breast-feeding.

As wonderful as breast-feeding is it cannot prevent certain things. If your child is predisposed genetically for certain conditions such as autoimmune illness, nursing cannot keep these illnesses from occurring. What breast-feeding can do is equip your child with a stronger immune system to fight things like, Diabetes, Celiac, Lupus, Multiple Sclerosis, Psoriasis, and Rheumatoid Arthritis.

My Father was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis when I was 10. My grandchildren's paternal great-grandmother suffered most of her dear life with Rheumatoid Arthritis. My grandmother suffered from Diabetes.

What a group we are. We are so different, yet genetically so much the same. I would not trade one member of my great family tree. Even though we have been dealt a hefty hand in the autoimmune department, we have also learned how to be very strong. My father was a decorated WWII hero. Peggy, whom I loved and greatly admired, lived her life with Rheumatoid Arthritis but never complained. They were wonderful examples of strength and pure goodness.

Addy is the great-granddaughter of two of the very best people I have ever known or loved in my entire life. How blessed I am to have had these great people to lead and love me while I was young. Adalyne Erin Rose is another great name who will bring strength to those who are blessed to know and love her. She is a hero at life. Just like her great-grand parents, Grant Samuel Dial and Margaret (Peggy) Allen.

"He is One of the Treasures of Our Country"

"Please do not be angry at the pilot. He is one of the treasures of our country. I know that my family is in heaven with God and He is taking care of them. I know that there are many more people who have suffered more than I, please tell me how to do get through it." These words are from a man whose entire family, including two little girls under the age of 18 months was destroyed in minutes after an F-18 crashed into his house in San Diego. This statement is what Christmas is all about. This is the message of Jesus.

Dear Sir, I am praying for you. You are an elect person setting the example of the teachings of our Lord Jesus for the entire world with your message of forgiveness. You are loved.

Christmas Blessings

Everyday I count my blessings. If I get discouraged I find that this is one way to "buck" up. I have a job, health, family and a home. My needs are met. Sweet Girls are just the icing on a beautiful cake. These little girls sing "Away in the Manger," and Up On the House Top" to me over the phone. These little girls have sweet spirits who delight in their love for Jesus. I am so fortunate to have wonderful granddaughters to cherish. I have other granddaughters that I love just as much. Daryan, a beautiful young lady lives in a different state than her sisters. I don't often see her. Although, I hold her in my heart just as dear. Kelsey, another granddaughter is a beautiful sweetheart that I don't have the privilege of being with. She is a wonderful remembrance of my father. All of these young ladies, Adalyne, Kaelyn, Maya, Daryan, and Kelsey are my Sweet Girls.

It was just a bit over a week ago that my mother and I were tenderly placing tissue paper between the folds of these green and red Christmas dresses. I remember how excited we were thinking how cute the girls would look in these brilliant colors. Christmas dresses have become a tradition in our family. I remember my mother shopping ever so carefully for Wendy's Christmas dress. Now, I do the same. It's a tradition that has spanned three generations. All of my Sweet Girls are my Christmas Blessings. Thank you Jesus.

Christmas Wishes

This is my beautiful daughter Wendy Kaye, and my three precious granddaughters, Adalyne, Kaelyn and Maya. When I look at this delightful picture, I ask myself how I could ever want more. I have been so blessed having these wonderful girls in my life. Never the less, I do want more. I want Addy to be healthy. I want her Diabetes to be cured and her Celiac test to be negative. I want Kaelyn and Maya to be blessed with good health. I want these beautiful little girls to grow and bloom with happiness. I want Wendy to be given the strength and courage to raise her delightful children to maturity. I want Wendy to be blessed with a strong, healthy mind and body. I want every member of Wendy's family to be incessantly protected from harm. I want all of her desires met. I want all of her dreams to come true. I want Jason to adore her forever. I want Jesus to put his arms around my dear daughter's family and shelter them with His warmth, comfort, and tranquility.

These are my Christmas wishes.
